Occupation announces interception of a missile launched from Yemen

SadaNews: The Israeli occupation army announced today, Wednesday, that it had detected the launch of a missile from Yemen toward Israel, stating that its air defense systems intercepted it. This follows a day after the announcement by the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) of carrying out four military operations with four drones against targets in Israel.

The group's military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, stated in a statement yesterday, Tuesday, that they carried out four military operations attacking various Israeli targets, including the building of the General Staff, a power station in Hadera, Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, and the Port of Ashdod in occupied Palestine.

He added that the first operation targeted the building of the enemy's Israeli General Staff in the occupied Jaffa area (Tel Aviv) with a drone of the type Samad 4.

He mentioned that the other three drones targeted the power station in Hadera (north), Tel Aviv's (Ben Gurion) airport in Jaffa (center), and the Port of Ashdod (south), successfully hitting their targets.

According to Saree, the Houthi forces also targeted the ship MSC ABEY in the northern Red Sea "for violating the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine and its ties to the Israeli enemy with two drones and a cruise missile, directly hitting the ship," as stated in the announcement.

Saree stated that targeting the ship comes as part of confirming the continued ban on maritime navigation for the Israeli enemy in the Red and Arabian Seas.

He noted that these operations come in support of and in solidarity with our oppressed brothers in Gaza, who have suffered from (Israeli) aggression for a long time, and their siege has intensified, with their enemies killing and starving them, and those who have failed them.

The Houthis have been launching attacks on Israel with missiles and drones in response to the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
