Oil Jumps 4% to Record Highest Level in Over a Month
SadaNews Economy - Oil prices surged by more than 4% at settlement today, Saturday, reaching their highest levels in over a month.
Brent crude futures rose by $3.87, equivalent to a 4.59% increase, to record $88.10 per barrel.
Meanwhile, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures increased by $3.54, or 4.48%, to $82.49 per barrel.
Both types of crude recorded their highest prices since mid-June and have risen by approximately 16% this week.
Brent crude is on track to achieve its third consecutive weekly gain, while U.S. crude is heading towards its second weekly gain.
