Israeli Report: The Recent Attack on Yemen Targeted the Houthi Chief of Staff and Minister of Defense
SadaNews - Israeli military sources stated today, Friday, that the attack carried out by occupation aircraft yesterday, Thursday, targeted the Chief of Staff and Minister of Defense of the Houthi group, along with other leaders in the group's government, as reported by the Israeli army radio.
According to the sources, the Israeli army "is still waiting for the results of the operation".
The sources pointed out that the attack came "thanks to urgent intelligence about a meeting of Houthi leaders" coinciding with a speech by Houthi leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, noting that "within a short period, we received approval from the political level and the Chief of Staff, for the strike to be executed immediately".
The sources added that the Israeli army "is preparing for heightened scenarios following the targeting of Houthi leadership," including the possibility of "increased missile launches towards Israel".
