Smotrich Presents His Plan for the Future of Gaza and Hamas to Achieve "Victory"

Translation by SadaNews - The leader of the Religious Zionist Party, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, presented this Thursday evening what he called the "Victory Plan" that he urged to adopt in order to eradicate Hamas in Gaza.

Smotrich outlined those steps in a press conference, as translated by SadaNews, which are based on "defeating Hamas militarily, economically isolating it from the population, reducing the area of the Gaza Strip and annexing it to Israel, and opening the doors of Gaza for the migration of Gazans". He also said.

He added: "The state of Israel has no right to end the campaign on Gaza without achieving victory. There is only one option, resolution and victory".

He offered Hamas two options: surrender by returning all live and dead hostages at once, completely disarming and dismantling the infrastructure, exiting the movement's leaders and armed fighters from the sector, opening a free corridor for voluntary migration, and the permanent annexation of the security perimeter and full operational control of Israel over the sector.

 

If they refuse, the second option is for Israel to initiate a swift and decisive military-political move, aiming to destroy Hamas's last strongholds through besieging the city of Gaza and central camps, separating Hamas from the population by controlling Israel over the management of humanitarian aid, and making a political decision to start a gradual annexation of Gaza's territory and reducing its area for the benefit of Israel, applying Trump's plan for voluntary migration for the residents of Gaza.

Smotrich said, as translated by SadaNews: "To those who irresponsibly call for surrender to Hamas, to the skeptics, and to those who do not believe in our ability to win, I say clearly: We are capable of victory, and we can achieve it quickly.. We must start this campaign and finish it, to eliminate the comprehensive evil that committed atrocities against us on October 7, and despite all this intimidation, we can, and must, end the campaign by the end of the year".
