The Death Toll from the Occupation's Aggression on Gaza Rises to 62,966 Martyrs
SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Thursday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,966, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
It added that the number of injuries has risen to 159,266 since the beginning of the aggression, while many victims remain under the rubble, and rescue teams and civil defense are unable to reach them.
It was indicated that 71 martyrs and 339 injured have reached hospitals in the Gaza Strip within the last 24 hours, while the death toll and injury count since March 18 has reached 11,121 martyrs and 47,225 injured, following the occupation's violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The report stated that the toll of those who arrived at hospitals from martyrs of assistance during the last 24 hours was 22 martyrs, and the injuries were 203, bringing the total number of martyrs from livelihood support who have reached hospitals to 2,180, and injuries to 16,046.
Gaza hospitals recorded during the last 24 hours 4 new deaths due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number to 317 deaths, including 121 children.
