Police Reveal Fraud Operation in Bethlehem Involving 269,000 Shekels
SadaNews - The Palestinian police revealed the circumstances of a fraud case involving 269,000 shekels and arrested a suspect from outside the Bethlehem governorate.
The police stated that complaints were received a few days ago from citizens who reported that a person had misled them into believing he had connections with architectural firms and contractors and that he could help them retrieve their rights and obtain compensation, in exchange for large sums of money. After following up and investigating, it was found that he had committed fraud against three citizens.
The suspect has been referred to the relevant authorities, pending his referral to the public prosecution to complete the legal procedures against him accordingly.
