Microsoft Employees Protest Its Cooperation with the Occupation Army
SadaNews - A number of current and former employees stormed the office of the CEO of the tech giant "Microsoft" in Redmond, Washington, in protest against its cooperation with the occupation army, which has been committing atrocities against the Palestinian people in Gaza for nearly two years.
The protesters demanded, as part of a campaign dubbed "No Azure for Apartheid" (Azure is the company’s cloud computing platform), to halt cooperation with the Israeli government, amid accusations that Microsoft services are being used to support military operations against Palestinians in Gaza.
The protest, which involved dozens of activists, comes at a time when American companies, including Google and Amazon, are facing increasing pressure regarding their contracts with Israel.
