Netanyahu's Assistant: We Give Hamas Until Mid-September to Agree on the Deal
SadaNews: An assistant to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed in statements reported by Bloomberg that Israel has given Hamas a deadline extending until mid-September to agree to a deal that includes the return of Israeli prisoners and the dismantling of the movement's government in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli official confirmed that "time is running out," indicating that the Israeli army will have completed its preparations to launch a military operation in Gaza City if Hamas does not accept the terms of the proposed agreement. He added that the military option will be executed as soon as the specified deadline expires if the movement continues to refuse.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry stated that there has been no official Israeli response, neither acceptance nor rejection, nor any alternative proposal regarding the Gaza deal.
