
Journalist Martyred by Israeli Occupation Fire in Khan Yunis
SadaNews - A journalist and a civilian were martyred this evening, Monday, due to the Israeli occupation forces opening fire towards the tents of displaced persons in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, journalist Hassan Douhan arrived at Nasser Medical Complex as a lifeless body following the targeting of the displaced persons' tents with gunfire.
Douhan worked as a correspondent for the Palestinian daily newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida.
With this, the number of martyrs among journalists due to the occupation's atrocities in Gaza today rises to 6 after the massacre that claimed 5 at the Nasser Medical Complex from Israeli artillery shelling.
This brings the total number of martyred journalists since the beginning of the war to 246.
