
The death toll from the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip rises to 62,744 martyrs and 158,259 injuries
SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Monday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,744, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The Ministry added that the number of injuries has risen to 158,259 since the onset of the aggression, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble, and rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
It indicated that 58 martyrs and 308 injured arrived at Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours, while the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, following the occupation's breach of the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,900 martyrs and 46,218 injured.
It clarified that the toll of those who reached hospitals from the aid martyrs in the past 24 hours was 28 martyrs and 184 injuries, bringing the total number of livelihood martyrs who have reached hospitals to 2,123, and injuries to 15,615.
Gaza hospitals recorded 11 new deaths in the past 24 hours as a result of famine and malnutrition, including two children, raising the total number of deaths to 300, among them 117 children.
