Jordan Central Bank Issues Treasury Bonds Worth 50 Million Dinars
SadaNews - The Jordan Central Bank, on behalf of the government, issued on Monday the 26th issuance for this year of treasury bonds worth 50 million dinars.
According to data from the bank reviewed by "The Kingdom", the maturity date for the current issuance is August 26, 2028, while the bank indicated that the settlement date corresponds to August 26, 2025.
Treasury bonds are financing instruments with long maturity periods ranging from two to twenty years, varying between government/treasury bonds and those issued by corporations.
Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for periods ranging from 3 to 12 months, and they are characterized as low-risk financial instruments that are traded on money markets for buying and selling.
