68% of Israelis: The Government is Lost in a Never-Ending War
SadaNews - A new survey conducted by the "Institute for National Security Studies" in Israel has revealed an increasing concern among the Israeli public regarding the continuation of the war on Gaza, along with a decline in confidence in the Israeli government's ability to achieve its objectives, particularly regarding the issue of prisoners.
61% of Israelis believe that the recovery of prisoners held by Hamas will only be possible through a deal that includes ending the war, reflecting a shift in public priorities towards political solutions rather than military ones.
Furthermore, 65% of survey participants believe that the Israeli government's decision to control the Gaza Strip does not actually contribute to bringing the recovery of the prisoners any closer.
Additionally, 68% expressed their belief that the Israeli government does not have a clear strategic plan to end the war, indicating a growing crisis of confidence in political and military leadership.
Meanwhile, 66% of Israelis expressed concern over the possibility of Israel facing increasing international isolation due to the continuation of the war, amidst escalating international criticism of the humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
These results indicate a shift in the general Israeli mood, as priorities are leaning towards ending the war and recovering the prisoners.
