Israel Investigates Houthi Missile Suspected to be Iranian Launched Towards It Yesterday
Translation by SadaNews - Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported this evening, Saturday, that the Israeli Air Force has been conducting investigations since last night into the reason for the failure to intercept the missile launched by the Houthis after a part of it exploded in a house.
According to the newspaper's website, as translated by SadaNews, it is being examined whether the missile contains cluster components similar to the Iranian missiles that were launched during the recent war, which are missiles that break into small parts and scatter into several shrapnel that fall over very large areas of the targeted zones.
Yesterday, the Houthis in Yemen launched a missile that the Israeli air defense systems failed to fully intercept, although they succeeded in intercepting parts of it.
A Houthi official hinted at their forces’ use of new missiles without providing further details.
