Sirens Sound in Tel Aviv After Missile Detected from Yemen
SadaNews - Sirens echoed in Tel Aviv on Friday evening after the Israeli army announced that it had detected a missile launched from Yemen.
The Israeli army stated in a brief statement that air defense systems had engaged the missile, without reporting any injuries or damage so far.
Since November 2023, the Houthi group has been targeting ships linked to Israel or the United States in the Red Sea, using ballistic missiles and drones.
Israel relies on the "Arrow" system to intercept long-range ballistic missiles, in addition to the "Iron Dome" for short-range threats, and "David's Sling" for medium-range threats.
