European Official: Famine in Gaza is Real and Israel Must Allow Aid to Reach
SadaNews - The European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Haja Lahbib, stated that the famine in the Gaza Strip is real and a current reality, as confirmed by an international classification report on food insecurity in which the United Nations is involved.
Lahbib added in a post on the "X" platform today, Friday, that "people are dying of hunger, and by the end of September, nearly one in three people in Gaza may face famine. This is a race against time."
She urged Israel to allow continuous and unobstructed humanitarian aid to reach all those in need sustainably.
