Health Ministry in Gaza: We reject any Israeli step that could undermine what remains of the health system
SadaNews - The Health Ministry in Gaza expressed its rejection on Thursday evening for any step that could undermine what remains of the health system after the systematic destruction carried out by the occupying authorities.
This came in a statement in response to the request from the occupying authorities to transfer health system resources from the Gaza Governorate to the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The ministry stated in its announcement that this would deprive over a million people of their right to treatment and put the lives of residents, patients, and the injured at imminent risk.
It emphasized that all international and humanitarian organizations must work to protect what remains of the health system and provide all necessary resources to save lives.
It reiterated the importance of maintaining the provision of health services as a right guaranteed by all laws for all citizens in all places of their presence.
