Jordanian Monarch Renews Emphasis on the Importance of Intensifying Efforts to Cease Fire in Gaza
SadaNews - King Abdullah II of Jordan emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and delivering humanitarian aid to all areas of the enclave.
This came during his meeting with Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani today, Thursday, in the capital, Amman, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan and Japan in military and defense fields.
The meeting also addressed the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip amidst the ongoing aggression of the Israeli occupation, as well as the serious escalation in the West Bank.
The Jordanian monarch stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and delivering humanitarian assistance to all regions of the enclave, appreciating Japan's role in enhancing humanitarian relief efforts.
For his part, the Japanese Defense Minister appreciated Jordan's role and its efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East.
