The death toll from the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip rises to 62,122 martyrs

SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Wednesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,122, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.

It added that the number of injuries has risen to 156,758 since the beginning of the aggression, while several victims remain under the rubble, and rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

It indicated that 58 martyrs (including two whose bodies were retrieved) and 185 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, while the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, following the occupation's breach of the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,576 martyrs and 44,717 injured.

It clarified that the number of martyrs among aid workers who arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours is 22, and the injuries are 94, raising the total number of martyrs for the sake of livelihood who have arrived at hospitals to 2,018, with injuries totaling 14,947.

Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded 3 deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, bringing the total number to 269, including 112 children.
