"Al-Qassam" Executes Major Attacks in Rafah and Khan Yunis.. and Reveals Details

SadaNews: Israeli media reported that the resistance in Gaza launched two major attacks, one targeting the Kfir Brigade headquarters in Rafah, while another targeted a site in Khan Yunis, described as exceptional. Al-Qassam revealed the details of the Khan Yunis operation.

Israeli media stated that Palestinian militants, believed to be from the Al-Qassam Brigades, executed an attack on a Kfir Brigade position in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip, attempting to capture Israeli soldiers.

It confirmed that the attack resulted in the injury of 3 Israeli soldiers, one of whom is in critical condition, while helicopters were deployed to transport the injured to hospitals.

The Israeli army radio stated that the Israeli forces monitored the Palestinian cell, and warplanes participated in repelling the attackers, killing some of them according to their claims.

Khan Yunis Operation

In parallel with this operation, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that 14 Palestinian militants unexpectedly breached the Israeli defenses and attacked an army site in Khan Yunis, injuring two soldiers during clashes.

The Israeli army radio mentioned that an attack by more than 10 militants attempting to raid an Israeli site was thwarted, describing it as an exceptional incident in Khan Yunis.

Israel Hayom reported clashes occurred after the attack carried out by more than 10 militants on an army site in southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Provides Details

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they managed "this morning to raid a newly established enemy site southeast of Khan Yunis city in the southern strip with a Qassam force composed of an infantry unit".

It stated that its fighters stormed the site and targeted several Merkava 4 tanks with a number of explosive devices and resistance tools as well as 105mm Yassin shells. They also targeted several houses where occupation soldiers were fortified, securing them with 6 anti-fortification shells and machine gun fire.

It added that several fighters stormed the houses and eliminated several occupation soldiers at close range with light weapons and hand grenades, also successfully sniping the commander of a Merkava 4 tank, inflicting fatal injuries.
