Sheikh Discusses Gaza Developments with Egyptian Foreign Minister and Appreciates Cairo's Efforts to Stop the Aggression
SadaNews - Today, Tuesday, the Deputy President of the State of Palestine, Mr. Hussein Sheikh, held an important phone call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Atty, during which they discussed the latest developments regarding the grave situation in the Gaza Strip and the efforts to urgently achieve a ceasefire.
Sheikh reviewed with Minister Abdel-Atty the details of the Palestinian situation and the unprecedented humanitarian disaster faced by our people, emphasizing the need to intensify international pressure to immediately stop the aggression and allow urgent humanitarian aid to enter.
Sheikh also praised the significant role played by our sister Egypt, in collaboration with Qatar and the United States, as part of mediation efforts, stressing the deep appreciation of the State of Palestine for the intensive communications made by Cairo to establish a truce and stop the bleeding of Palestinian blood, thereby enhancing the prospects for security and stability in the region.
