Martyrs and Injured Due to Continuous Israeli Shelling on Gaza Strip

SadaNews: At least 18 citizens, including children and women, were martyred and dozens were injured in the early hours of this Tuesday due to the shelling by Israeli aircraft and artillery on various locations and neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.

In the vicinity of the University College west of Khan Younis, two citizens were martyred, one of whom was a child, as a result of targeting a tent for displaced persons.

Later, medical sources at the hospital reported the arrival of 4 martyrs and wounded individuals due to the shelling of a tent housing displaced persons near "Fash Fush" in the Al-Mawasi area west of the city. The martyrs included: the child Yusuf Mohammed Eid, his brother the child Saif Mohammed Eid, their mother Nour Majed Salem Al-Mashoukhi, and Saeed Taha Al-Aidi.

In the city of Deir al-Balah in the central region, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital announced the arrival of five martyrs and several injured from the shelling that targeted a tent housing displaced persons in the Al-Bassa area. The martyrs are: the girl Dana Ahmed Mohammed Al-Haj (13 years old), the girl Raghad Mohammed Masmah (12 years old), Mohammed Ahmed Saleh Masmah (36 years old), Safinaz Mahmoud Masmah (34 years old), and the child Fawzi Mohammed Ahmed Masmah (one year old).

The same hospital reported the arrival of five other martyrs due to the targeting of groups of citizens near the "Kissufim" site southeast of Deir al-Balah. They are: Abdullah Abu Amrah, Ali Ahmed Al-Shaida, Anas Abdul Karim Bashir, Adham Abu Riya, and Hassan Mohammed Harbaq.

In this context, Al-Shifa Hospital west of Gaza City announced the arrival of two martyrs and 53 injuries after the occupation forces shelled crowds of citizens who were waiting for food aid in the "Zikim" area northwest of Beit Lahiya in the northern sector.

Additionally, shortly before midnight last night, four citizens were martyred, including a journalist, and others were injured due to shelling that targeted the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City and other areas in Deir al-Balah.

It is noteworthy that the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted so far in the martyrdom of 62,004 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 156,230 others, according to preliminary figures, as thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, amid the inability of rescue and ambulance teams to reach them.
