Foreign Ministry Condemns the Arbitrary Decision of the Occupation Against Australian Diplomats
SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the arbitrary action announced by the Occupation's Foreign Minister regarding the cancellation of visas for Australian diplomats in the State of Palestine, considering it an illegal decision that contradicts the Geneva Conventions, international law, and international legitimacy resolutions that do not grant the occupying authority such powers.
The Ministry confirmed that the State of Palestine does not recognize this decision and treats Australian diplomats as representatives and accredited officials to the State of Palestine, emphasizing that these measures reflect a state of Israeli arrogance and a loss of political balance.
It stated that these policies will only reinforce Australia's and other countries' determination to adhere to international law, the two-state solution, and the recognition of the State of Palestine, in pursuit of a just and comprehensive peace.
