Occupation Detains Culture Minister and Accompanying Crew in Youth Village West of Ramallah
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces detained Culture Minister Imad Hamdan and his accompanying crew today, Monday, during his visit to the Youth Village in Kafr Ni'mah west of Ramallah.
A group of settlers assaulted the ministry's crew, physically attacking them, obstructing their access to the village, and confiscating their IDs and personal phones. The executive director of the Sharek Youth Forum, Badr Zam'ara, and a group of young men and women from the "Youth Village" were also detained.
Minister Hamdan stated that these arrogant practices by the occupation and its settlers will only increase our determination to support these youth initiatives and continue cultural activities despite all the obstacles and challenges posed by the occupation.
