
Mustafa Discusses with His Egyptian Counterpart Efforts to Stop the Genocidal War Against Our People and Intensify Urgent Relief
SadaNews - Prime Minister Dr. Mohamed Mustafa met today, Sunday, with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Mostafa Madbouly at the Cabinet headquarters in Alamein, Egypt, where they discussed the latest developments in the political situation, efforts to stop the genocidal war against our people in the Gaza Strip, and to reach a comprehensive and sustainable immediate ceasefire, halt the attacks by the occupying army and settlers in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and stop the annexation and displacement plans.
Mustafa conveyed the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas and the government and our people to his brother, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and the friendly Egyptian government and people, praising Egypt's steadfast and supportive stance on our cause and our people. He emphasized the continuation of coordinating joint efforts and positions between Palestine and Egypt, in addition to our Arab brothers and international friends, to stop the aggression of the occupation against our people, open all crossings with the Gaza Strip for the entry of humanitarian and relief aid, and halt colonial expansion in the West Bank and the attacks by the occupying army and settlers.
The Prime Minister affirmed the readiness of the State of Palestine to assume all its responsibilities in the Gaza Strip, according to one political system, one law, and one weapon, and to unify with the West Bank. He stressed the importance of building on the outcomes of the peace settlement conference of the Palestinian issue, which was held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on the path towards ending the occupation and realizing the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Mustafa also discussed with his Egyptian counterpart the latest developments and preparations for holding the international conference for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip immediately after the cessation of aggression, and updating joint plans to ensure a rapid response to urgent relief efforts, economic recovery, and reconstruction, in a way that disrupts the displacement plan.
For his part, Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to his brother President Mahmoud Abbas, and to the Palestinian government and people, emphasizing his country's steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause at all levels and in all international forums, and Egypt's continued efforts with international partners and friendly countries to achieve a permanent and sustainable ceasefire, and Egypt's readiness to hold a reconstruction conference immediately after the cessation of aggression.
The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Major General Ziad Hab al-Reeh, Health Minister Dr. Majid Abu Ramadan, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Istifan Salama, Minister of Social Development and Relief Dr. Samah Hamad, and the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Egypt Diab Louh.
