Egypt Reiterates Its Firm Rejection of the Displacement of the Palestinian People and Calls on Nations Not to Participate in This Heinous Crime

SadaNews - The Arab Republic of Egypt has renewed its firm rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people and called on countries not to participate in this heinous crime. It stated that it is "deeply concerned" about the recent reports concerning Israeli consultations with some countries regarding the acceptance of the displacement of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip to their territories, as part of a rejected Israeli policy aimed at emptying the Palestinian land of its inhabitants and occupying it, as well as liquidating the Palestinian cause. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry clarified, in a statement on Sunday, that Egypt, through its communications with the countries rumored to agree to receive the Palestinian people, has indicated its rejection of those condemned schemes. Egypt reiterated its firm rejection of any Israeli plans that aim to displace the Palestinian people from their historical land, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, under any pretext, justification, or name, whether the displacement is forced or "voluntary" through starvation policies, land confiscation, and settlement, making life impossible on Palestinian land. Egypt also affirmed that it will not accept displacement and will not participate in it, considering it a historical injustice with no moral or legal justification, and it will not allow it as it will inevitably lead to the liquidation of the Palestinian cause. Egypt called on all peace-loving countries worldwide to refrain from getting involved in this immoral crime that contradicts all principles of international humanitarian law, which constitutes a war crime and ethnic cleansing, and represents a blatant violation of the four Geneva Conventions. It also warned of the historical and legal responsibility that will fall on any party that participates in this heinous crime and the potential political consequences with regional and international dimensions.
