The Death Toll from the Genocide in Gaza Rises to 61,827 and Injuries to 155,275
SadaNews - The toll of the genocide war and the aggression waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,827 martyrs and 155,275 injuries since October 7, 2023.
Medical sources reported today, Friday, that among the total are 10,300 martyrs and 43,234 injuries since March 18 of this year, which marks the resumption of the occupation's aggression on the Strip following the ceasefire agreement.
Within the last 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 51 martyrs, including two whose bodies were retrieved, and 369 injuries, resulting from the ongoing massacres and Israeli targeting. Rescue and civil defense teams face difficulties in reaching the victims, as a significant number of them remain under rubble and debris, and in the streets.
Furthermore, the total number of martyrs who arrived at the hospitals during the past 24 hours from aid-related incidents has reached 17 martyrs and 250 injuries, bringing the overall total of those who died from seeking a livelihood in the hospitals to 1,898 martyrs and over 14,113 injuries.
Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded a death case of a girl within the last 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, increasing the total number of deaths to 240, including 107 children.
