UN: The construction of thousands of colonial units in the West Bank is illegal

SadaNews - The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights stated that Israel's plan to build thousands of colonial units in the West Bank and near East Jerusalem is illegal under international law.

The Commission warned today, Friday, that the plan poses a threat to Palestinians in the region of forced eviction, which it described as a war crime.

Arab and European countries condemned the new Israeli plan.

This comes amid ongoing Israeli calls to declare full sovereignty over the West Bank, and increased calls aimed at the idea of establishing a Palestinian state.
