The Presidency Welcomes the Position of South Sudan Rejecting the Displacement of Gaza Residents
SadaNews - The Palestinian presidency welcomed today, Thursday, the position of the friendly Republic of South Sudan, which was stated in a statement from its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, firmly denying the allegations of any discussions with Israel regarding the transfer of Gaza residents to its territories, appreciating its refusal to participate in any plans aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause or undermining the unity of the Palestinian people and land.
The presidency expressed the appreciation of President Mahmoud Abbas and our Palestinian people for these brave positions from our friends in the Republic of South Sudan, who are committed to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, international law, and the decisions of international legitimacy that have confirmed the rejection of displacement as a war crime punishable under international law.
The presidency praised the position of the Republic of South Sudan for not participating implicitly in the war of extermination and starvation and the attempts of displacement being carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities, in a clear challenge to the international community and its resolutions that have affirmed the necessity of an immediate cessation of the war, the introduction of aid, and the prevention of displacement.
