"Smotrich": Supporting the establishment of a Palestinian state is suicide for Israel

SadaNews - The Israeli Occupation's Finance Minister "Bezalel Smotrich" renewed his threats and warnings regarding the "necessity of expanding settlements" in the West Bank.

In his statements today, Thursday, he said, "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supports the expansion of settlements and the imposition of sovereignty over the West Bank".

He also indicated that the American administration fully supports the Israeli steps in the West Bank.

Additionally, he considered that Israel "should restore settlement in Gaza", emphasizing that Israeli forces will not leave the areas they occupied in the sector.

He reiterated that "supporting the establishment of a Palestinian state is suicide for Israel", according to his expression.

These statements came after Smotrich announced the approval of the construction of 3,401 new settlement units in the E1 area located between Jerusalem and the Ma'ale Adumim settlement.
