The Genocide War on Gaza Continues Amid Starvation and Siege

SadaNews - For the 678th consecutive day, Israeli military forces continue their aggressive war on the besieged Gaza Strip, as described by Palestinian sources as a "crime of genocide" that includes the siege, starvation, and targeting of civilians and displaced persons, including those seeking humanitarian aid.

In the northern strip, the Israeli army continues to develop plans to occupy the city of Gaza, while completing the forced displacement campaign of hundreds of thousands southward. Meanwhile, deadly airstrikes on various areas continue, resulting in dozens of martyrs and injuries daily.

On Thursday morning, Israeli aircraft launched airstrikes simultaneously with artillery shelling on the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza, leading to the destruction of 300 homes over three days, following the approval of a plan to occupy the entire strip.

Mohammed Abu Salmiya, director of the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza, warned of the critical health situation in hospitals, confirming the exhaustion of necessary medical supplies to treat the wounded and ill, with bacteria emerging that causes serious infections in wounds that could lead to death or limb amputation.

On the ground, Palestinian resistance factions continued their attacks on the occupation forces, with the Al-Qassam Brigades announcing the targeting of two Israeli tanks with "Yasins 105" shells and a bomb near the Abu Hamid roundabout in central Khan Younis in the southern strip.

On the political front, a Hamas delegation headed by Khalil Al-Hayya held meetings in Cairo with the head of the General Intelligence Service, Major General Hassan Rashad, to discuss details of a developed proposal being worked on by mediators in Egypt and Qatar to halt the war.
