Thursday: The weather will remain extremely hot and at times dusty, with a slight decrease in temperatures while still remaining around 8-9 degrees Celsius above the annual average. Winds will be light to moderate northwest, and the sea will have slight wave heights.
Friday: The weather will be hot to extremely hot, with a noticeable decrease in temperatures and a gradual retreat of the heatwave, although still remaining around 4-5 degrees Celsius above the annual average. Winds will be moderately to actively northwest, and the sea will be of moderate wave height.
Saturday: The weather will be relatively hot, with another noticeable decrease in temperatures, while still remaining about 2 degrees Celsius above the annual average. Winds will be light to moderate northwest, and the sea will have slight to moderate wave heights.
The Meteorological Department warns during the hot wave affecting the country:
1- Of the risk of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours from 10 AM to 6 PM.
2- The danger of igniting fires in areas with abundant dry vegetation.
3- Low horizontal visibility due to dust.
4- Respiratory patients and those with dust allergies.
The Meteorological Department calls upon citizens to follow the instructions and guidelines issued by the Civil Defense Authority, Ministry of Agriculture, and all relevant authorities.
