New Dispute Between Katz and Zamir Over Appointments of Officers in the Israeli Army
SadaNews - A new dispute is currently ongoing between the Minister of the Occupation Army, Israel Katz, and the Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, regarding the appointments of officers with the rank of Brigadier General in the Israeli army.
Israeli broadcaster reported: "The army published a list of appointments despite the opposition of Defense Minister Katz."
It added: "The Chief of Staff did not coordinate with Minister Israel Katz."
In response, the leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, criticized the disagreements between Katz and Zamir, saying: "In this crazy government, even a simple event like the appointment of officers in the army does not pass without leaks, quarrels, and defamation."
He added: "This is not the way to run the country, and this is not how to lead the army."
