Occupation Notifies of Work Ban in Areas of Douma South of Nablus
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation authorities notified today, Monday, several areas in the village of Douma south of Nablus, of a work ban in these areas.
Suleiman Dawabsha, the head of the Douma Village Council, stated that the occupation forces raided several areas south of the village and distributed notices declaring them archaeological sites, where work or farming is prohibited. This is based on the powers and laws of antiquities under the occupation government.
It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities had previously notified the seizure of the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, a few days ago, and the conversion of areas of its land—considered among the oldest and most important archaeological and historical sites in the West Bank—into an "Israeli archaeological site."
