Meeting of the UN Security Council on Saturday Regarding Israel's Plan to Occupy Gaza City
SadaNews - The United Nations Security Council will hold a meeting tomorrow, Saturday, to discuss Israel's plan to occupy Gaza City, according to three diplomatic sources.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 19:00 GMT, at the request of several members of the Security Council, as reported by a member of the body, amid increasing international concern regarding the Israeli plan.
This comes after several countries requested an emergency meeting of the Security Council, while the Palestinian Ambassador to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, told reporters earlier, "As we speak, several countries will request on our behalf and on their own the convening of a Security Council meeting."
