Assassination of a Leader in the Popular Front in Lebanon
SadaNews - A spokesperson from the "Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine" revealed to the Qatari channel "Al Jazeera" today, Friday, about the "martyrdom of Central Committee member Abu Khalil Washah and his companion in an Israeli targeting in Lebanon."
The Israeli army had targeted a car on the Al-Masna' road in eastern Lebanon.
The bombardment led to the martyrdom of 6 individuals and the injury of 10 others.
Additionally, a Lebanese citizen was martyred as a result of bombardment targeting a vehicle in the town of Kfardan.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine was founded as an extension of the Palestinian branch of the Arab Nationalists Movement after the merger of three Palestinian guerrilla organizations: "Youth of Revenge," "Heroes of Return," and "Palestinian Liberation Front," along with a group of Nasserist officers and independent figures.
