Settlers Storm "Tarsala" Site Near Jabaa South of Jenin (Video)
SadaNews - Today, Thursday, settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation army, stormed the "Tarsala" site near the town of Jabaa south of Jenin.
Local sources reported that 5 buses carrying settlers and a large number of occupation vehicles accompanied by a bulldozer stormed the site where the "Sanour" settlement, evacuated in 2005, used to stand.
The sources pointed out that settlers continued to storm the area despite its periodic evacuation.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli "cabinet" approved in May of last year the establishment of 22 new settlements in the West Bank, including the re-establishment of the "Homesh" and "Sanour" settlements in Jenin Governorate.
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and the head of the Northern West Bank Settlements Council participated in storming the area.
During the storming, Smotrich renewed his call for the application of full sovereignty over the West Bank.
