Occupation hands over the body of martyr Awda Al-Hithalain in Yatta, south of Hebron
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces handed over the body of martyr Awda Muhammad Al-Hithalain today, Thursday, in the city of Yatta, south of Hebron.
Local sources indicated that the body of martyr Al-Hithalain will be transported to his hometown in the village of Umm Al-Khayr in the Yatta region, to be buried in the village cemetery.
Al-Hithalain, who was 31 years old, was martyred last Monday by the gunfire of a settler during an attempt by the people of Umm Al-Khayr to confront a bulldozer that entered their agricultural land accompanied by settlers, which resulted in the injury of another citizen who was attacked by the bulldozer's "hammer".
Last Tuesday, the occupation court in Jerusalem released the settler Yanoun Levy, accused of killing the activist and teacher Awda Al-Hithalain, and decided to place him under house arrest, despite the murder being documented on video, and despite the previously listing of the killer settler Levy on sanctions lists in the United States, Canada, and Britain for his involvement in settler terrorism.
