Foreign Ministry Condemns Attack by Settler Gangs on Diplomatic Vehicles of Russia and the Netherlands
SadaNews - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the attack by terrorist settler elements on a Russian diplomatic vehicle transporting members of the friendly Russian Federation mission, as well as their attack on a Dutch diplomatic vehicle carrying the Dutch ambassador and the political attaché.
The ministry considered these two attacks a blatant violation of international norms and laws, especially the Vienna Convention. They reflect the arrogance and rebellion of organized and armed settler militias against any laws, stemming from their sense of protection and support from the political level in the occupying state. At the same time, these attacks express the dangers and threats faced by Palestinian citizens daily at the hands of colonial terrorism on the roads and in Palestinian towns, with the protection and supervision of the occupation army.
The ministry again called on countries and the international community to adopt more decisive and bold positions, impose deterrent sanctions on elements of colonial terrorism, and apply real pressure on the occupying state to hold it accountable, dismantle it, dry up its funding sources, and lift the protection it enjoys.
