20 Martyrs and Dozens Injured as Truck Overturns on Aid Seekers in Gaza
SadaNews: The government media office in Gaza reported early Wednesday that 20 Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured when a truck overturned on dozens of starving aid seekers in the central Gaza Strip.
The government media office in Gaza stated that the aid truck "overturned after being forced by the occupation to enter through an unsafe route, which reveals the deliberate intent of the Israeli occupying army to place civilians in paths of danger and death."
Yesterday, Tuesday, 81 Palestinians were martyred by the fire of the occupation army, including 57 of the starving aid seekers.
Hunger drives thousands of people to aid waiting points daily, leading to casualties among martyrs, injured, and missing.
The starvation of Palestinians in Gaza due to the Israeli siege and genocidal war has reached unprecedented levels recently, according to local and international reports, with increased deaths resulting from malnutrition and dehydration, totaling 189 martyrs, including 95 children, according to medical sources in the sector.
Since October 2023, the Israeli occupation army - with American support - has been waging a genocidal war against the residents of the Gaza Strip, resulting so far in the martyrdom of more than 61,000 Palestinians, over 150,000 injuries, and the displacement of nearly the entire population of the enclave, amid unprecedented destruction since World War II, according to documented reports from Palestinian and international sources.
