SadaNews - A phone call took place today, Tuesday, between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

During the call, the King of Bahrain reiterated the Kingdom's firm and clear stance supporting the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people, aiming towards the realization of an independent State of Palestine with its capital in Jerusalem.

For his part, the President thanked the King of Bahrain for these steadfast and supporting positions for Palestine and its just cause, and an agreement was reached to continue consultations on various common issues of concern to the region.
