Abu Obeida: We are ready to positively engage with the Red Cross to provide food and medicine for the Israeli captives
SadaNews - The spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced that Hamas is ready to engage "positively" with any request from the Red Cross to provide food and medicine for the Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
Abu Obeida said: "We are ready to positively engage with any request from the Red Cross to provide food and medicine for enemy captives."
However, Abu Obeida emphasized that "we also condition the cessation of enemy airstrikes in all of their forms at the times when the parcels for the captives are received."
He added that "the Al-Qassam Brigades do not intentionally starve the captives, but they eat what our fighters eat, and what the general population of our people consumes."
He continued: "The captives will not receive special privileges amid the crime of starvation and siege."
