Investigations by the Occupation Army: 16 Israeli Soldiers Have Committed Suicide Since the Beginning of the Year
SadaNews - Israeli broadcasting authority reported based on investigations by the Israeli occupation army that since the beginning of the year, 16 soldiers have committed suicide, 4 of whom were last month.
It stated that most cases of suicide among soldiers are linked to the war in Gaza.
It continued: The cases of suicide are related to facing difficulties in staying for long periods in combat zones.
For his part, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said: "Israel cannot wage a war if it is not supported by the majority of the people, believes in its objectives, and trusts its leadership."
He added: "None of these conditions are met now, and it is time to end the war and return the captives."
