Residents of Deir Jarir, East of Ramallah, repel settlers' attack on the village
SadaNews - Residents of the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, repelled an attempted invasion by settlers on Friday evening.
Local sources reported that a number of settlers tried to invade Deir Jarir from its western entrance, but the residents confronted them, leading to clashes.
The occupation forces stated that the troops securing protection for the settlers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at the citizens.
Yesterday, a young man was injured by shrapnel from live ammunition during clashes that erupted in Deir Jarir after the occupation army intervened to protect settlers who attempted to invade the village.
