Signing a Series of Agreements.. Mustafa Meets Prince Faisal Ben Farhan and Discusses Developments in the Palestinian Situation

SadaNews - Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa met today, Tuesday, with Saudi Foreign Minister His Highness Prince Faisal Ben Farhan, within the framework of coordinating positions and the ongoing efforts to stop the war of extermination and starvation against the people of Gaza, to support the Palestinian cause and realize the rights of Palestinians by ending the occupation and embodying the independent state.

Mustafa appreciated Saudi Arabia's steadfast positions regarding the Palestinian cause, and the continuous movement through the Arab Contact Committee and the International Coalition for a Two-State Solution, culminating in holding an international conference to settle the Palestinian issue and implement the two-state solution, emphasizing the importance of coming up with practical steps and a specific timeline.

Following the meeting, several memoranda of understanding were signed between the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Istifan Salama. The first memorandum included cooperation in the field of curriculum development between the National Center for Curricula in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Education in the State of Palestine, exchanging experiences and practices in scientific fields related to the development of educational curricula, whether printed or digital, and exchanging experiences in enhancing the capabilities of experts in curriculum development and design, through implementing joint programs, exchanging relevant scientific materials and studies, and facilitating the participation of experts and specialists in this field.

The second memorandum is between the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Civil Service Bureau in the State of Palestine for cooperation in the field of developing, training, and improving human capital, digitization, public administration, human resource development, employment, and skills development to contribute to improving the quality of government performance in the State of Palestine, and developing training programs and enhancing institutional performance.

The third memorandum is between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the State of Palestine in the field of telecommunications and information technology. This memorandum aims to establish a framework for cooperation between the two parties in the field of telecommunications and information technology, and the cooperation under this memorandum includes the following areas: organizing the telecommunications and information technology sector, electronic government services, digital transformation, technological innovation, and entrepreneurship in the telecommunications and information technology sector, licenses and standards related to the telecommunications and information technology sector.
