Settlers Grazing Their Sheep on Citizens' Lands in Deir Dubbawan East of Ramallah
SadaNews - The Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages Defense Organization stated this evening that a group of settlers has been grazing their sheep inside the lands of citizens in the town of Deir Dubbawan, east of Ramallah, in a new assault on private property and the livelihoods of residents.
The General Supervisor of the Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages Defense Organization, Hassan Malihat, explained in a press statement that the settlers entered agricultural and pastoral lands owned by the town's residents, without any legal justification, and began grazing their sheep there, in a provocative step that is part of a continuous series of violations targeting the control of Palestinian lands and denying their owners the ability to exploit them.
He added that this behavior is repeated in many areas of the West Bank and is used as a means to impose gradual control over the lands, paving the way for settlement or the expansion of existing outposts.
