The German Government Holds a Meeting to Discuss Developments in the Gaza War
SadaNews - The German government's Security Cabinet is holding a meeting today, Monday, to discuss developments related to Israel and the tragic situation of civilians in the Gaza Strip, according to government sources in Berlin.
The meeting will be attended by Chancellor Friedrich Merz, his deputy Lars Klingbeil, and several ministers, where it is expected to discuss ways to improve humanitarian conditions.
Merz had urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone call yesterday to make every effort for an immediate ceasefire.
Government spokesman Stefan Cornelius stated that Berlin will consider, in coordination with its partners, practical steps to improve the situation in the sector.
