Oman Condemns Israeli Knesset's Call to Impose Sovereignty over the West Bank
SadaNews - The Sultanate of Oman condemned the Israeli Knesset's call to impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank in Palestine, describing it as a new challenge to international law and international legitimacy, and a deliberate undermining of peace opportunities in the Middle East, as well as the right to self-determination for the Palestinian people and the two-state solution.
In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, the Sultanate reiterated its strong condemnation of Israel's ongoing policy of blockade and starvation, alongside the prevention of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid from reaching the population in the Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories. Oman holds Israel and its supporters fully responsible for the legal, humanitarian, and political consequences of these practices, which violate international humanitarian law.
