14 Martyrs in a New Massacre Targeting the Shelter Tents in Al-Shati Camp West of Gaza
SadaNews - Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza City announced early Tuesday morning the arrival of 14 martyrs and 25 injured persons to the hospital, as a result of shelling by the Israeli occupation forces that targeted the tents of displaced persons in the northern area of Al-Shati camp west of the city.
The sources confirmed that among the martyrs and injured were several children and women, in a new massacre that adds to the ongoing series of crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
This escalation comes as part of the continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 59,029 citizens, most of whom are children and women, alongside injuring 142,135 others, in a preliminary toll, while several victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, amid the inability of rescue teams to reach due to the ongoing bombardment and the collapse of infrastructure.
Different areas of the Strip, especially the displacement camps, are witnessing heavy and repeated shelling, in the midst of catastrophic humanitarian conditions and a severe shortage of food, medicine, and water.
