Erdogan: Israel believes a united Syria will not be in its favor and we will not leave Al-Shara alone
SadaNews - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Israel believes that "a united Syria will not be in its favor and continues its provocations, and does not want stability in the region".
In remarks made aboard the plane during his return journey from Cyprus, Erdogan emphasized that "it is essential to explain to the world that Israel is working to obstruct the stability project in Syria," asserting that "we will not leave (Syrian President) Ahmed Al-Shara alone".
He affirmed "that we do not want Syria to be fragmented, and we see its recovery as a positive development for our country, as its recovery will positively affect its relations with us," announcing that "we will provide all forms of support to expedite the voluntary return of Syrians from Turkey."
Erdogan considered that "there is a part of the Druze trying to spread corruption in Syria".
