The ministry confirmed in a statement that the strip is experiencing a real famine, evident in the severe shortage of essential food items and the spread of acute malnutrition, amidst a complete lack of medical resources to treat the consequences of this disaster.

Medical teams have observed a marked increase in mortality rates resulting from hunger and malnutrition, as mentioned in their statement.

It was noted that Naser Medical Complex received 32 martyrs since dawn today, along with dozens of injuries resulting from the occupation's massacre targeting them at American aid distribution centers in southern Gaza.

The ministry warned of an unprecedented health and humanitarian catastrophe if this international silence continues, calling on the international community, United Nations agencies, and human rights organizations to take urgent and effective action to stop these massacres and to open humanitarian corridors for the safe and regular supply of food, medicine, and fuel.

In a related context, the death of a second child was announced within 24 hours inside the Gaza Strip due to malnutrition and famine.
